Seas of Blood

A gothic progressive metal band from Portland Maine live up to their reputation with their album "Seas of Blood". A very solid sounding band with big potential on this scene, the singer Cruella uses her stylistic, beautiful lyrics and voice to parade through stand out tracks such as "Serpentarius" and Deny yourself".

Solitary piano scores and relentless guitar riffs really make this album quite addictive. The surprising thing is the band does not conform to the cliches of dark metal. They genuinely are progressive and original dark metal.
