Biography: John Graveside (guitar)

A saturday afternoon tv screening of Dracula Has Risen from the Grave starring Christopher Lee was a pivotal moment for John Graveside. This was at 10 years old. At 12 there were obsessive readings of Lord of the Rings, and late night viewings of The Twilight Zone occurred during high school. Guitars and heavy rock came along about the same time.

Metal was big with John (Mercyful Fate, Judas Priest, Slayer), but so was Punk/Hardcore (Ramones, Black Flag, The Damned) as well as Classical and Celtic. Since those formative days Graveside has toured the US with various bands but ultimately settled in Portland ME to work on his new project.
