Biography: Cruella (vocals)
From an early age Cruella has been fascinated by both beauty and decay. Born into a family of artists and musicians, she has been immersed in creativity and eccentricity her whole life. As much as she wished to create something beautiful, she was also intrigued by the decomposing bird in the driveway....
Spawn from hippies, Cruella was also exposed to much diverse music of the time such as Joni Mitchell, Jethro Tull, The Beatles and the Stones (her mom would often put her in her playpen with headphones hooked up to the huge record player). But also being a true child of the eighties she could not escape the music of Depeche Mode, The Cure, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Prince or Blondie. Yes, a strange mix, but it was this diverse interest in music that helped her develop her own style of singing. Later in life her musical interests grew to include much Blues, Motown and Opera. Now, it is from these roots that have brought her (finally) to front By Blood Alone.
